Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, wahuwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

We have entered the morning and at this very time the sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.

Whoever says this in the morning has given thanks for the day. Recorded in Hisnul Muslim.

Abu Dawud 4/317, Hisnul Muslim #75

Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namutu, wa ilayka an-nushur.

O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening. By You we live and by You we die, and unto You is the resurrection.

Acknowledges that all life depends on Allah alone.

O Allah, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am faithful to my covenant and promise to You as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

The Prophet ๏ทบ said: 'Whoever says this in the morning with certainty, and dies that day before evening, will be among the people of Jannah.'
